With artist royalties , whilst I do not have any direct experience per se , based on my knowledge , research and gut instinct and logic determines that the basis of their contract (as suggested) cannot be sustained . Here’s the logic :

Clearly the retail price of anything clearly has costs:

If say a CD costs £12 retail – call it for ease of maths £10 + VAT.

Retailer profit = 40% , say £4
Actual cost of reproduction of CD – probably 25p – 35p including artwork and printing – given bulk they produce
Publishing rights 6.25% = 62.5p

That leaves about £3 per disc to cover all costs. Artist royalties would be the same as publishing – ie 62.5p. They then have £2.38 per disc to play with

It would be unfair for them to re-coup marketing costs from the artist – as this is the record companies business.

I believe that the costs they will charge you for will be any advances they make and possibly some studio time but their own promotion budgets MUST include travel and direct expenses incurred .

I have reasearched and have not found any information other than whale hugging spammers speaking the evils of keeping a shark in the home aquarium. Not all sharks are the same. There is a species
that stays under 3 feet, called a cat, there is another slightly larger species called a Bamboo. These sharks are usually sold as small 2-8″ pups, so they adapt well into a home aquarium, I also read that
their eggs are readily available for hatching yourself. They are sold in Aquarium stores for under $40, I can get one for $29. As you all know, usually the more a fish costs, it is less likely to survive your aquarium. I just want some info.

I know they are more sensitive than say Joe Damsel, or Betsy Pufferfish. I know they are sensitive to nitrate, I know they love meaty foods, “No hun I haven’t seen Pa for days, and I don’t know why the shark won’t eat either.”:-)know they could care less about lighting, and are not usually prone to skin diseases, but die if 1 level of water goes awry. If I throw on a Skimmer, and a UV sterilizer will I be okay if I run it just like a fish only, weekly testing, bi-monthly water changes, etc…?

Question:

Can we eat aquarium fish, say a tinfold barb that is 8 to 11 inches long and would he taste good?

Are aquarium fish like other fish? The diet, the swimming in a small area. Does this affect their
taste? I was in a chinese restuarant where you pick your meal from an aquarium. Are those special fish. Also, has anyone every tried to eat an aquarium fish like a black knife ghost fish, could you eat him without getting sick?

Answer:

If you read the fine print on your bottle of water dechlorinator/conditioner,such as Prime, it tells you it’s not for use on fish intended for human consumption. This is *only* because any substance that *is* for such a purpose is regulated differently by the government, and would have to meet certain standards.

Oscars, Discus, Malawi Cichlids, Plecos, red tailed catfish, piranha and even clown loaches (wild caught) are commonly prepared by locals for consumption. I wouldn’t anticipate any significant impact from their being in an aquarium, provided no medications have been used. However – given their domesticated diet, they will probably not be as tasty as their wild cousins.
